Given Jared’s legal background and his 9 years in the field of electronic discovery, he frequently acts as a liaison—and in certain cases, a translator—among lawyers, their clients, and their supporting technology teams. Jared has also developed and co-presents an accredited CLE course entitled “eDiscovery–Managing the Madness,” which familiarizes attorneys with the legal risks inherent in handling electronic data and the “superpowers” that cutting-edge-technology solutions can bring to attorneys and their clients.

DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL FORENSICS

Daniel Barak is the Director of Technology and Digital Forensics at vdiscovery. With over 11 years’ experience in the legal industry, he has served as a senior consultant and technical advisor for major Am Law 100 Firms in the fields of information security, network infrastructure, electronic discovery, and digital forensics. Daniel has been awarded the status of Relativity Expert, a title held by fewer than 3 percent of Relativity professionals worldwide. He has organized, designed, and presented CLE-accredited courses for lawyers in the field of eDiscovery and information security. Daniel earned a degree in computer science from Columbia University and uses his knowledge of programming and data security to help build vdiscovery into a technology-centric company focused on the future.
